Rafting on river Kupa

Rafting on the river Kupa is safe enough, but there are several rapid streams that will make us wet and entertain us. Nature, crystal waters and woods that end at the very river banks are beautiful and will take your breath away. We have secured for you rafting boats for 6 to 10 persons. Each boat has a guide who will surely take you through all the excitements that await you. During summer when the water level is lower rafting boats cede their place to inflatable kayaks.

The excitements we have from the high water level in the summer will be replaced by swimming, water jumps and diving in the torrents. We can conquer some rapid streams without a boat only with the help of our life jackets. If you want a more exciting rafting choose the period after heavy rain when the river is high and the adrenalin will not lack. The rafting trip takes 1,5 to 2,5 hours, depending on the water level.

Get close to the river……

If you wish to experience more excitement and feel the wild water choose these stable and easy driven vessels for 2 or 3 persons. You will have no problem managing the kayak with the help of your guide, and very soon the rapid streams will present no problem for you. A guide is not on board with you, but follows and assists you if and whenever you need. The trip follows the same route as our rafting trip.

What does a rafting trip look like?

Safety first!! We meet at our sports centre in Brod na Kupi, 13, Zrinska street. We meet our guides over a welcoming drink. Equipment distribution and dressing for the trip follows. Transfer to the starting point takes about 20 minutes. The start is from Sedalci village. We follow the guide’s instructions on behavior on the river and here we go! The exit point is in Kuželj village. Transfer to our sports centre. There you can change your clothes again, take a shower and have a refreshing home-made meal (not included in price)!

Closed groups can choose the time for the beaginig of the trip..

Our equipment: Helmet, life jacket, neopren suite, neopren boots, anorak.
